1. Appraisal:

We highly recommend appraising your fine rugs for insurance purposes.

An appraisal certificate from a professional is helpful should you need insurance coverage or if you would like to sell or trade your rug. 

This will Include a printed appraisal certificate with all the information, and history of your rug including pictures. 

2. Custom Made Rug: 

The Rug Bug Design also specializes in custom made rugs! Don’t see a rug that suits you?  Send us the design, colors, materials, and size you desire, and we will make it for you.

The process begins by choosing a design and size, the next step would be making a sample. The sample would be ready in approximately 5 weeks. Once you approve the sample we could go ahead and start weaving the actual rug. 

Production time for each rug varies depending on size and design.

3. Complimentary Consultation:

 The Rug Bug Design takes pride in its complimentary consultation services. Our in-home approval service provides our clients with the ability to take home up to 3 rugs. We believe that it is necessary for you to experience each rug in your own home before committing to a purchase.

4. Rug Rental:

The Rug Bug Design has rented rugs for a variety of special occasions including weddings, baby showers, wedding showers, photography sessions, Movie sets, and grand openings of new small businesses. Occasionally, renters end up purchasing these vintage rugs due to the sentimental value it holds to them. Rentals are a great way to make your event stand out from the rest.

Rug rentals are available, typically we suggest reaching out approximately 1 month prior to the time the rug is needed. Rug rentals costs are based on type of rug & size of rug requested.

5. Pad:

Padding is very important when purchasing a rug. It can double your rug’s lifespan by protecting it from dirt, wear, wrinkles and slippage, especially in high traffic areas. Rug pads hold the rug in place, reduce wear and tear by not allowing it to slip, keeps dirt and grit away from the foundation of the rugs. They also provide a cushioning effect that reduces the impact of foot traffic, and heavy furniture. 

6. Trade- Consignment 

If you have a rug that no longer fits your lifestyle, you can bring it in for our expert evaluation. After our careful examination, we may take your rug on consignment.

If you are considering an update or change in your décor, we may trade your old or unwanted rugs for a different color, shape, size or design to better suit your needs. 

7. Rug Cleaning

Routine rug cleaning by an experienced rug expert is essential to maintaining the appearance, health, and longevity of your area rug. 

Over extended periods of time, dust can become embedded in the fibers of your rug. Pet dander, lead, and other pollutants can become trapped in your rugs. A rug that once had vibrant colors can appear dull because of accumulated dust and dirt.
